Easy Shredded Turkey Sandwiches

This is one of my favorite meals for the crock pot.
Especially in the summer when we live on sandwiches.

I buy 2 turkey breast roasts in the freezer section of my meat department.
I throw away the gravy packet and place them in my oval crock pot.
Pour in 1/4 c. of water and cook for 4-5 hours if they are thawed.
(I have put them in frozen and cooked them all day.)
*I use a meat thermometer to determine if they're done.
When they are done, shred them and serve on buns with bbq sauce and sweet pickles.
The leftover turkey is great added to other recipes.
Yum!

  1. I'm so glad you made this. I love doing this with a pork roast but never thought about turkey. It couldn't be easier!
